Thanks to everyone who came along on Tuesday, despite the cold and the rain. It was a really fantastic night and I even managed to get a write up on The Thousands . A Special thanks to Matt, Paola and Douglas of Tight Projects for all their help in setting up the show.
I'm having a new exhibition at Tight Projects, 33 Roslyn Street, Kings Cross on Tuesday 19th July, 6-8pm. I will also be selling limited fabric prints of each of the artworks on opening night. If you're too cold and rugged up on Tuesday night, it will be up until August 6th. For more info, visit the Tight Projects Facebook page
This is The Dream: A two level country house with a 360 degree balcony, by the edge of a bamboo forest. I grow my own corn and pumpkins, one of which becomes the record breaker. On the edge of the forest I meditate with the Seven Sages until we reach a state of semi-transparency (I'll photoshop that bit later). The sages consult me on growing hybrid orchids and channelling my subconscious into abstract expressionism in my modern art studio greenhouse.
These are the fruits of the first Crafternoon (every Sunday in my living room from 3pm). Please note: Swarms is not my concept. I cunningly thieved it from my new housemate, Mia. It will also be the title of a brand new zine/collaboration. Will keep you posted!
