Mud In His Blood

I should thank my housemate Karl for this one. I set him up with a guitar, hat and suit and got him to pose for me. We have this broken lamp in our house that just dangles by it's cord, but somehow makes amazing shadows. This is the first time I've properly set up a shot for reference and it totally payed off!
The illustration is sepia ink, appropriately, this time, as I wanted to make it feel like mud. It should be the first of a series based on a fictional story I wrote which is very loosely based on one of my favourite blues musicians, Skip James.
